The Low Level (Hinayana) sect uses a sincere mind, an earnest mind, and a respectful mind, but they do not know how to use three minds and five vows to practice the Dharma in seeking for the True Reward. The High Level (Mahayana) sect also uses the sincere, earnest, and respectful mind, but they know how to lean on natures to clearly understand the mind, thoroughly knowing the reason and fact of the mind’s movement to discover that the movement of thousands of Dharmas results from the mind giving birth to the self. After following the discovery, there is the Appearing Birth—I generate the mind to acquire deeply the Essence of True Mind, the truth of the Dharma Body.
During the time of the Supreme Maitreya Buddha, the Lord based on root capabilities of His true disciples being great or small to teach accordingly. In the same Dharma school, but at one time the Lord taught the Low Level (Hinayana), and at the other, He taught the High Level (Mahayana), gradually assisting and selecting Tao practitioners for the One Level (Ekayana). For the Tao practitioner acquiring the Supreme Essence of True Mind, the Lord began to guide this practitioner in constructing the Supreme root capability, thereby exclusively enlightening this practitioner to practice the Ten Titles, divided into three dignities. Being able to divide into three dignities and determine to which dignity the living beings’ root capability belongs, the supreme practitioner can profoundly acquire Samadhi at the Supreme Level.
I still remember well what the Lord taught: The Bodhisattva preaches the Dharma based on conditions to save living beings. Since living beings are like a thin clay pot, they need great care. He must return to the secular world to save them until His last life in the secular world, when He will become a Buddha, only then will He decisively choose the one with root capability of the Supreme Construction. He will enlighten this chosen one to become a Great Boddhisattva to succeed the True Dharma so that He Himself can fully complete the Eight Masses of Nirvana.
Those of the two sects of Low Level (Hinayana) and High Level (Mahayana) do not thoroughly understand the root capability, often distinguishing the right and the wrong, becoming rebellious to thousands of Dharmas. A Tao practitioner practicing by following the Dharma Body no longer chooses Dharma; Simultaneously, practicing the Corresponding Body, the Appearing Birth, he is no longer in objection. He therefore acquires the practice in parallelism, called the One Constructing the Supreme Root Capability, entering the path of the one principle to perfect enlightenment.
A practitioner of High Level (Mahayana) must experience countless lives to come to the One Level (Ekayana). From the One Level (Ekayana), the practitioner also must experience countless lives to be able to receive countless Dharma precepts and clearly understand the sense of countless Dharma precepts until they become a Bodhisattva, they thoroughly understand the characteristics of Dharma precepts called the evolution of Dharma nature, which makes Tao practitioners erroneously passionate. The One constructing the root capability no longer relies on conditions, but He decisively constructs a path of practice in such a way to reach to the True Enlightenment and become a Buddha, called the Supreme Construction of Root Capability. This One has already entered the non-regression, achieved the Unthinkable Bodhisattva, and entered the Great Bodhisattva.
The One of Supreme Construction is the One, who practices through the path leading to the complete enlightenment of Dharma precepts, meticulously understanding everything around Dharma precepts without any omission of their evolution. He achieves the seeing even in formlessness, reaching the full Part of Enlightenment-about-Form. Therefrom, He could brightly determine on realizing the Ten Titles divided into the three dignities.
